Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) has announced that online tickets for Vaikuntha Dwara Darshan at Lord Venkateswara Temple in Tirumala will be available for booking from 11 am on December 23, while Rs 300 Special Entry Darshan (SED) tickets will be available. Online from 11 am on December 24.
Slotted Sarva Darshan (SSD) tokens, widely received by common pilgrims, will be distributed at Kaustubham Guesthouse in Tirumala and at eight designated counters in Tirupati.
The auspicious Vaikunth Ekadashi will be celebrated on January 10, 2025 at the Tirumala Temple and the innermost passage surrounding the sanctum sanctorum, Vaikunth Dwaram, will be open for devotees from January 10 to January 19.
Executive Officer of TTD J. The arrangements for the festival were finalized in a review meeting chaired by Shyamala Rao and Additional Executive Officer Choudhary Venkaiah Choudhary at Annamaiya Bhavan in Tirumala on December 17 (Tuesday).
The meeting decided to allow only those devotees who have valid darshan tickets to have darshan. However, persons without a token can enter the temple town, but will not be allowed for darshan.
VIP protocol philosophy
For VIPs, the protocol darshan will begin at 4:45 am on Vaikunta Ekadashi (January 10), followed by the grand procession of the golden chariot from 9 am to 11 am.
On the day of Dwadashi (January 11) from 5.30 am to 6.30 am, Chakrasnanam ritual will be performed in the temple pond.
To meet the needs of devotees, Annadanam (free food distribution) will be provided uninterruptedly from 6 am to 12 midnight during the festival. TTD decided to keep a buffer stock of 3.5 lakh laddus to meet the demand.
Lakhs of devotees from all over the country have flocked to see Vaikuntha.
