According to official data, Delhi’s air pollution is 17 times more than the limit set by the World Health Organization (WHO).

The overall level of PM2.5 (main pollutant) in Delhi at 8 am on Thursday was 255.3 micrograms per cubic meter, 17.02 times the World Health Organization’s accepted limit of 15 micrograms per cubic meter for 24 hours. period.

According to the CPCB, severe levels of air pollution “affect healthy people” and “severely affect” those with existing illnesses.

Several other cities and towns in the National Capital Region (NCR) and North India also fell under “very poor” air quality on Friday morning.
