Vijayawada:Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has expressed his disappointment that many in-charge ministers have not been able to visit their allotted districts in the last six months.
A reliable source said that the controversial statement of Home Minister Amit Shah was discussed in Delhi after the cabinet meeting.
It is said that Union Minister Ram Mohan Naidu informed Minister Lokesh about the developments in the Parliament over the phone. Chandrababu Naidu has criticized his ministers for not using technology properly. He said, ‘I am monitoring the work of all the ministers.
He said, ‘I know how long the file has been pending before the ministers.
The Chief Minister expressed disappointment that the in-charge ministers have not yet gone to the respective districts. He suggested the ministers to study the government’s policy in depth. Some ministers have admitted that they have not studied at all.
Meanwhile, the Council of Ministers has rejected the proposal to reduce the tenure of the president of local bodies from four years to two and a half years. Municipal Minister Narayan said that the tenure of current members in 79 municipalities will be completed by next March.
Naidu said that a total of Rs 31,000 crore is ready for the construction of the capital.
Civil Supplies Minister Nadendala Manohar asked the Chief Minister to take proper precautions in the construction of the assembly building. The Chief Minister advised the ministers to go and see how the assembly buildings are constructed in different states.
