Hyderabad: A state-of-the-art eye operation theater was inaugurated at the Government General Hospital in Gadwal on Sunday in the presence of local MLA Bandla Krishnamohan Reddy and Collector BM Santosh.
Krishnamohan Reddy, highlighting the government’s efforts to provide quality healthcare services to rural areas, said that after the inauguration of the facility, advanced eye treatment would be available close to home.
If special facilities are added to the district hospital, the number of patients going to big cities for eye treatment will be reduced, said Collector Santosh.
