Baramati Bhigwan road crash: 3rd trainee pilot dies, family donates organs | Pune News

A few days after two trainee pilots were killed and two were seriously injured when a car overturned on the Baramati-Bhigwan road on November 9, a 21-year-old woman died among the two injured. He was injured during treatment at a private hospital. The family of Chesta Bishnoi from Jaipur saved the lives of 6 people by donating his organs including heart, liver, kidney and pancreas.

On the night of December 9 and 9, four trainees of the Redbird Flight Training Academy in Baramati went for a pilot drive. The driver lost control of the vehicle at a bend around 3.15 am. The car hit a tree and overturned on the roadside pipeline at the scene. The car was heavily damaged due to the tree falling from the collision.

Takshu Sharma from Delhi and 21-year-old Aditya Kanase from Mumbai died in the accident. 21-year-old Krishna Ishu Singh of Bihar and 21-year-old Chestha Bishnoi of Rajasthan were seriously injured in the accident.

Chestha Bishnoi passed away on Tuesday night during treatment at a private hospital in Pune. We learned that her parents donated her organs, including her heart, liver, kidney and cornea. Another injured Krishna Singh has been discharged from the hospital. Inspector in charge of Baramati Taluk Police Station Vaishali Patil said.

Dr. Prasad Muglikar, Medical Director of Ruby Hall Clinic said, β€œThe pilot trainee from Jaipur in Rajasthan was admitted to our hospital in a critical condition. Despite the extensive efforts of our medical team, her condition worsened and we could not save her life. Five organs were transplanted and 6 lives were saved. Livers were divided and transplanted into two individuals. Organ allocation was done under the rules, criteria and supervision of the Regional Transplant Coordinating Center.

Dr Muglikar added, “Understanding the gravity of the situation, his family took the extraordinary decision to donate his organs, turning their personal grief into a beacon of hope for others. Through a coordinated effort, his heart, liver, kidney and pancreas were successfully harvested, giving individuals a new lease on life.” gave

When asked about the investigation into the incident, Inspector Patil added, “Investigation revealed that the car was driven by Singh. We have sent his blood alcohol sample for chemical analysis. The results are awaited.”
