Hyderabad:The Gatkesar police on Wednesday arrested a YouTuber for allegedly throwing currency bundles on the ORR as a money hunting challenge.
According to Malkajgiri ACP S Chakrapani, the accused goes by Bhanu Chandra and Instagram account @Chandu_rockzz_003. The in-charge of the Highway Patrol team received the complaint. He said a YouTuber was seen filming a video where he threw bundles of currency worth Rs 200 into the bushes. It was near exit no.9 and was booked under the BNS sections for the offense of causing public nuisance, endangering personal safety or life of others and cheating and deceiving someone to transfer property including the Highways Act.
Bhanu Chandra attempted to shoot videos and throw away money under the money hunting challenge to gain more followers for his YouTube and Instagram accounts.
Gatkesar police arrested him and sent him to judicial custody.
