The Kerala High Court has asked the state government to come up with a proposal to redress the grievances of victims of animal and reptile attacks. The court gave this direction in a petition filed demanding permission to work on the Siri Jagan Committee formed to decide on compensation for the victims of street dog attacks. The court reprimanded the Kerala State Legal Services Authority (KSLSA), asking the state government to submit a report before January 9, when the court will next hear the case.
