Harfest 2024, a celebration of culture, livelihood and unity, will be held from December 26 to 31, at Shaktan Thampuran Grounds in Thrissur.
Organized by Gramdarsha Integrated Services Pvt Ltd (GIS) in collaboration with ESAF Foundation, this six-day carnival promises a mix of fun, food and family.
Harvest is not just a carnival – it is a platform designed to empower nano-entrepreneurs, support Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) and honor Kerala’s rich culture and community spirit. It reinforces the ESAF Foundation’s mission to address socio-economic inequalities through sustainable and inclusive development, creating safe, family-friendly spaces where everyone can come together to celebrate, according to organizers.
Increasing marketing through ONDC
As part of the nationwide celebration of Tarang, NABARD will bring its FPO fair to Harvestest, showcasing various products. The initiative aims to promote direct contact between farmers and consumers by creating marketing opportunities for FPOs and increasing sales through ONDC (Open Network for Digital Commerce).
With the theme “Fun, Food, Family”, Harvest presents an array of attractions including emerging talent, live performances, stalls offering unique produce, an entertaining food festival, street magic, play areas and amusement parks and unique markets.
Harvest is a winner of the EEMAX Global Award 2024, demonstrating its impact in promoting sustainability, fostering community engagement and celebrating Kerala’s cultural heritage.
