Rumors spread that 2 diaries were recovered during the Lokayukta’s raid on the constable’s bungalow

Bhopal: Rumors that two diaries containing the names of the beneficiaries of the fraud of a former constable of the transport department have been recovered have created waves in the government and political circles.

Lokayukta police raided former constable Saurabh Sharma’s bungalow. Lokayukta police have not confirmed the report.

So far, gold, silver and cash worth Rs 79.8 million have been recovered from the raids.

According to rumours, one diary had a red cover and the other had a blue cover. These diaries were rumored to contain the names of some influential people who were allegedly beneficiaries of the former police office.

After his father’s death in 2016, Sharma was offered a job as a constable in the transport department on compassionate grounds.

His father was an employee in the state health department. Sharma took voluntary retirement in 2023.
