HyderabadIn three separate cases related to the Manchu family, Pahadi Sharif police has proceeded with the investigation at a slow pace.
The first case was filed by Manchu Manoj, who claimed that he was attacked by unknown persons, while the second case was filed by Mohan Babu, who expressed concern for his safety, citing fear for his life and security of property. Threats from son Manoj and daughter-in-law.
The third case is an assault complaint filed by a journalist who was allegedly assaulted by Mohan Babu at his residence. The police have not yet questioned Mohan Babu, who is absconding in the killing industry case. He claimed that he was undergoing treatment at home and was not ready for interrogation.
According to police sources, the investigation has stalled due to this. However, since Mohan Babu’s interim bail expires on Monday, he has to be present, so the police have prepared to interrogate him.
Additionally, Mohan Babu was exempted from appearing before the Additional District Magistrate following the altercation at his residence. A notice was sent to him after the incident, but this exemption will also expire after December 24, and he will be required to appear in court.
The root cause of the ongoing tension in the Manchu family seems to stem from a quarrel between Manchu Manoj and a servant. Manoj is said to have hit the servant which led to an altercation with his father Mohan Babu. Mohan Babu has questioned who gave him the right to beat up the workers saying that the workers are his responsibility. The situation escalated when Manoj raised his hand against his father and escalated the fight. This incident seems to have started the current family drama and the police are investigating on the same basis.
Meanwhile, Vishnu is said to be furious at the situation, adding to the already tense atmosphere. As every member of the family involved in the incident is portraying himself as a victim, it is a challenge for the police to bring out the truth.
