Part of Vasundhara Raje’s car overturned, 3 policemen were slightly injured

Jaipur: Three policemen sustained minor injuries when the vehicle of former Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje overturned while trying to avoid hitting a motorcycle in Rajasthan’s Pali district on Sunday, police said. The accident happened when he was going to meet former minister Otaram Dewasi to express his condolences on the death of Raje’s mother.

“There were seven policemen in the vehicle. Some of them sustained minor injuries,” Pali SP Chunaram Jat said.

Raje left for Mundara village in Pali district by road. The police car that was taking him between Bali and Kot Baliyan overturned while trying to save a motorcyclist.

A BJP leader said his car was rear-ended by a car that overturned three times. He said that he immediately got down and helped to send the injured policeman to the hospital.
