The Chief Minister highlighted Odisha’s industrial potential by proposing the development of industrial townships at Gopalpur and Jharsuguda. He sought central support for strategic projects including the Everest Project, National Waterway-5 and the East Coast Economic Corridor. It was also requested to expand the Paradip Port, speed up environmental clearance work and set up a rare earth complex.
Majhi highlighted the state’s tourism potential, seeking ₹10,000 crore for infrastructure development to establish Odisha as a world-class destination. He also asked for timely release of Jal Jeevan Mission funds and inclusion of more blocks in Mayurbhanj and Keonjhar districts under the aspirational block programme.
