IE Foundation Managing Director and IE School of Science and Technology Vice Dean Geoffrey Gerard said India is the leading country from Asia to send the most students to university after Singapore and the Philippines. “Indian and South Asian students are important to IE, and we aim to increase their presence at the undergraduate level. Currently, more than 15% of UG students are from Asia Pacific,” adds Gerrard, who finds many qualified candidates from India to study and work in Europe. are optimistic.

The IE Foundation was established with the support of partners and donors at IE. Through the initiative, students from over 100 nationalities have been able to achieve their goals. The foundation awards 1000 scholarships to talented students every year. “Apart from financial support (including tuition fees, travel and accommodation), scholars get the opportunity to network with experts, researchers and academics. On many occasions, scholarship committees have a hard time choosing from the many Indian students who apply here,” adds Gerard.
The Young Talented Leaders Program is an initiative designed to support outstanding students from diverse backgrounds. It aims to provide access to world-class learning with a focus on developing future leaders with strong academic performance and a commitment to positive social impact; The IE Foundation Fellows Program is a special excellence program that benefits a total of approximately 300 students each year. About 45 Indian students have been beneficiaries. The Foundation is negotiating with corporations, foundations, or individuals to create special scholarship funds to allow outstanding talents who need access to IE University. “We hope to increase this joint effect with some strategic partnerships for talent from India in the future,” adds Gerrard.
