MT Vasudevan, popularly known as MT, was widely regarded as the preeminent deity of Malayalam literature until his death.
MT’s huge popularity, bordering on praise, owes largely to the way he presents the social history of Kerala in his work. The focal point of his story, Kudallur, is a picturesque little village that is a microcosm of Kerala’s agricultural economy.
Known for his versatility, the author’s legacy extends beyond the pages, to the screen with his immortal characters: Chanthu ( Oru Vadakkan Veeragatha(unnimaya) resultIndira ( PanchagniSatyanathan ( alwaysDr. Haridas ( Amritam Gamaya).
