Elon Musk and Sundar Pichai react to Jasprit Bumrah’s ‘Google It’ barb

Google CEO Sundar Pichai and billionaire Elon Musk have responded to India’s star fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah’s viral comments during the third Test between India and Australia.

On the third day of the third Test (Sunday), a reporter asked Bumrah about his assessment of the Indian batting unit, and Bumrah did his best to answer the widely-attracted question.

The journalist asked, ‘What is your assessment of batting, even if you are not the best person to answer this question, what do you think about the condition of the team considering the situation at the Gabba?

“That’s an interesting question. But, you are questioning my batting ability. You should google and see who scored more runs in Test overs. But, the joke is different. That’s another story,” Bumrah replied.

For Anwars, the fast bowler holds the record for most runs in an over in Test cricket. He gave 35 runs in one over.

Bumrah’s hilarious banter instantly went viral as it also caught Sundar Pichai’s eye. Responding to a user’s post on ‘X’, cricket enthusiast Pichai commented, “I googled it. Anyone who can hook Cummins for a six knows how to bat! Well done @Jaspritbumrah93. Saving the follow on with Deep!”

Elon Musk wasted no time as he responded to the Google CEO’s comment within 12 minutes, writing, “Good.”

On the other hand, Google India has featured Bumrah on X calling him a ‘game changer’ after he surpassed the legendary Kapil Dev to take the most wickets on Australian shores. Earlier, Google India responded to Bumrah’s exchange with the reporter, writing, “I only believe in Jassi Bhai.”

Meanwhile, after the third Test between India and Australia ended in a draw, a storm in Brisbane held the Seema Gavaskar Trophy to a 1-1 draw.
