Christmas is the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ. It is believed that the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, through His atonement and redemptive suffering, paid for the sins of the world. The Holy Bible declares that God so loved the world that He sent His only Son, Prof. Kumul Abbi said.
In his teaching, Jesus emphasizes the importance of love, peace, humanity, compassion and forgiveness. He declares that blessed are those who are poor in spirit, those who mourn, the humble, those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, the pure and peaceful in heart, the persecuted.
The Redeemer spoke of the importance of being gentle, loving, kind, gentle, and moral. He taught that being humble does not mean being obedient, passive, or weak. To be non-violent is to be powerful and to take revenge and not offer the other cheek is a godly virtue. He said, ‘Come to me, all you who are burdened’. Thus he assured us of God’s everlasting faith, mercy, and promise of love. He came to comfort the humble, the afflicted, the oppressed, and the afflicted. He reassured the weary, the lost, those struggling to cope with suffering through his own suffering. He showed us how to bear our cross, our trials and tribulations and resign ourselves to the Lord’s will. He showed us that true love consists in surrender and acceptance of suffering and surrender to the Lord’s will. Thus Jesus Christ through his birth and death assured us of hope, salvation and the promise of the Lord’s eternal love. Through his life and death he taught us to face sorrow and pain. He assured us of the Lord’s love, benevolent salvation and deliverance. He blessed the poor in spirit and highlighted the need to be moral, forgiving and honest and kind. ‘Seek first the kingdom of God and all his righteousness. Even as he was nailed to the cross, he looked humbly at his persecutors and begged the Lord to forgive them, not knowing what they had done.
Thus he boldly denounced hypocrisy, slander, and emphasized peace, harmony, and love as strength instead of vengeance and retribution. He said that we should be perfect and strive to be like God in our moral virtues and character suffering so that He bestows love and mercy.
Thus Jesus carried the cross as an acknowledgment of the divine will. He rejected brute force, and emphasized love and non-violence. He instructs not to resist evil. Jesus said that we serve Him when we do good to others who are hungry, thirsty, imprisoned, and naked.
