Former US President Bill Clinton was admitted to a hospital in Washington D.C. on Monday afternoon after developing a fever, where he is being tested and monitored, an aide said in a statement.
The 78-year-old Clinton was at home when he was brought to MedStar Georgetown University Hospital in Washington DC on Monday.
“President Clinton was admitted to MedStar Georgetown University Hospital this afternoon for evaluation and observation after developing a fever,” Clinton’s deputy chief of staff, Angel Urena, wrote.

Although Clinton was active during the US presidential campaign and campaigned for Vice President Kamala Harris, she ultimately lost the race to President-elect Donald Trump.

Clinton was hospitalized in Southern California in 2021 for an infection that spread to her bloodstream but was released six days later, the report said. CBS News.
According to A NBC News Reportedly, Clinton underwent a quadruple bypass heart surgery at New York-Presbyterian Hospital in 2004 while in 2010, two stents were inserted to open an artery.
