Chandrasekhar praised the NTR statue as the crowning glory for Amaravati

Vijayawada: Union Minister of State for Rural Development and Communications Pemmasani Chandrasekhar has said that the ‘One Nation, One Election’ initiative by the Central Government will be beneficial for the rapid development of the nation.

The minister thanked Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu for his “progressive thinking” in holding simultaneous elections.

Chandrasekhar along with Tadikonda MLA Tenali Shravan Kumar, unveiled the NTR statue under the leadership of TD leaders at Tullur mandal center in Amravati on Sunday.

Chandrasekhar said, “All those who want the construction of capital Amravati and development of the state want TD rule. The statue of immortal leader Nandamuri Tarka Ram is the crown of capital Amravati. Amravati is the proof of implementation of Anna. NTR) vision is possible only through CM Naidu.”

He said that Rs 15,000 crore in central government funds is coming for Amravati. Every hole is being filled, dilapidated buildings will be rebuilt.

In another event, Chandrasekhar laid the foundation stone for two more storey extension of Dr Podila Prasad GMKana Super Specialty Block at Government General Hospital, Guntur. Works have progressed at a cost of 10 crores.

The Union Minister said that GMCANA services are like a jewel for Guntur GGH, and it works like a stethoscope around the neck.
β€œThere are many medical colleges in AP and Telangana. Many have studied here and are working abroad as doctors or in higher positions. But, it is important to know how many of them have come back and focused on the government hospitals they studied and are helping to develop them,” he said.

Dr Podila Prasad, Narasaraopet MLA Arvind Babu, District Joint Collector Bhargava Teja, Building Committee USA-GMCANA President Dr Sagireddy Babu Reddy, NATCO Vice President Sadashiv Rao and others were present.
