Hyderabad:The BRS sought to discuss the Formula-E Prix in Hyderabad during the BRS regime which sparked controversy over the government asking the Anti-Corruption Bureau to investigate all aspects related to the conduct of the event in the city.
Considering this dispute between the then Information Technology, Industry and Urban Development Minister KT Rama Rao and the executive chairman of BRS, BRS wrote separate letters to the speaker of the legislature and the chairman of the legislature on Wednesday. In its representation signed by its MLAs and MLCs, the BRS said that the government should discuss the matter instead of deciding to probe it so that the public is aware of the issue comprehensively as the legislative session is on. The party has requested that both the Houses hold a wide-ranging public discussion and clarify what are the true and baseless allegations regarding the bringing of race to the city and its conduct.
