Sonu Sood and Aishwarya Rai played on-screen siblings in Ashutosh Gowariker’s 2008 film Jodha Akbar. Sonu played the role of a protective brother who risks being thrown out of his own kingdom to save his sister played by Aishwarya. They went like ‘Amitabh Bachchan’s son, Amitabh Bachchan’s son’. So, I got VVIP treatment, they took me out of line and took me separately, I felt very good,” he said.
In the same episode, Sonu recalled that he was very hesitant to push Bachchan in a scene of Buddh Hoga Tera Baap. “Bachchan sir comes to the police station, I’m playing a police officer and I have to push him back and say ‘Nikal jao police station se’. So I told director Puri Jagannath, with whom I’ve done 2-3 films, that instead of greeting me, he Pushing. So, I pushed him back gently and Bachchan sir said don’t push me hard.
