The National Conference on Higher Education will be held in Dharwad on December 23

A national level seminar on ‘Employment, Employment and Higher Education in India: The Missing Link’ will be organized on December 23 at Anjuman College of Arts, Science and Commerce and Center for Post Graduate Studies, Dharwad.

Addressing reporters in Dharwad on Friday, Principal NM Makandar said that IIT Professor SM Shivprasad will deliver the keynote address at the seminar which will be inaugurated by the Director of Education, University of Agricultural Sciences (UAS), Dharwad at 10:30 am, Ismail Tamatgar, President of Anjuman e Islam. will preside over the inaugural session.

Mr. Makandar said that there will be sessions on ‘Increase in Higher Education and Decline in Employment in India’, ‘Contemporary Problems and Challenges in Higher Education’. Professors and research students will present papers both offline and online. The papers presented will later be published in the UGC CARE journal, he said.

The concluding program will begin at 2:45 PM with Prakash Hosmani, Co-Director of Collegiate Education as the chief guest.
