Telugu YouTuber and movie actor Prasad Behera has been arrested by the police on charges of sexual abuse.
The police said that the victim had filed a complaint saying that Prasad had been sexually harassing her for the past few months. During one shoot, he even behaved inappropriately and “touched her indecently”, the report said.
Behra was remanded in custody for 14 days.
The lady has acted in a web series with the actor. Prasad and the victim also used to work on the same YouTube channel.
The complaint also stated that the woman and Prasad had met during the shooting of the web series when he misbehaved with her. Another time he abused her and she tried to stop but was abused.
She has alleged that Prasad attacked her while returning home from shooting on December 11.
It may be recalled that social media influencer Fun Bucket Bhargava also faced similar allegations where he was accused of having physical relations with a minor girl.
YouTuber and actor Shanmukh Jaswant also faced problems after being accused of drug abuse. Another influencer, Vinay Shanmukh, was accused of fraud and sexual misconduct.
Behra came into limelight from the film committee Kurrolu. Prasad Behra is preparing for his upcoming film ‘Bachla Malli’ along with Allari Naresh.
