Four passengers were killed and 24 injured in an accident that occurred when a truck and a State Transport (ST) bus collided in Jalna district on Saturday evening.
There were around 60 passengers in the ST bus going from Malegaon to Mahurgad. Officials said that it is suspected that the bus collided with the speeding truck and hit both the vehicles.
Some passengers were rescued from the bus and taken to the district government hospital. Officials said that the speed at which both vehicles were traveling is being investigated.
The police are also taking statements from the passengers.
