Tiger Woods’ son Charlie Woods hit his first career hole-in-one at the PNC Championship in Orlando, Florida on Sunday.
The 15-year-old hit a seven-iron from 175 yards on the par-3 fourth hole in the final round of the tournament.
“It was a perfect seven-iron, so just kind of hit it,” Charlie Woods told Golf Channel.
Charlie Woods didn’t even know the shot had gone into the hole. A large gallery along the green lined the other side of the hole, as did another group of fans, many of them holding up their fingers β some to indicate going down the hole, others pointing upward to show their score. Television cameras finally confirmed it for him.

“It was awesome. I didn’t think it went in. I don’t believe anyone until I go there and see it,” Charlie said.
βIt was good to have dad there.
“That was a lot of fun. It was just a perfect 7-iron, there was a little cut. Obviously never saw it going in. So that sucks. But it’s all right.”
Charlie received a warm hug from his father, Tiger Woods.
“First,” Charlie said as the camera panned around him.
Woods was more excited than he made a hole-in-one.
“It was the thrill of a lifetime to have that moment with Charlie, his first hole-in-one,” Woods Sr. said.
This is the fifth year in a row Woods and his son have played in the 36-hole tournament and the second time they finished as runners-up.
