Prime Minister Narendra Modi will on Monday (December 23, 2024) distribute over 71,000 appointment letters to new recruits in various central government departments through video conferencing, his office said.

According to the statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office, the employment fair is a step towards fulfilling the Prime Minister’s commitment to give high priority to job creation.

Mr. Modi will distribute over 71,000 appointment letters to the newly appointed recruits through video conference at around 10:30 am on Monday. The Prime Minister’s Office also said that he will address the gathering on the occasion.

The job fair will provide a meaningful opportunity for the youth to participate in nation building and self-empowerment.

It will be held at 45 locations across the country. Recruitment is being done in various ministries and departments of the central government.

The selected recruits from across the country will join various Ministries/Departments including Union Ministry of Home Affairs, Department of Posts, Department of Higher Education, Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and Department of Financial Services. The PMO said.
