UGC NET JRF 2024: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will close applications for the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) on December 10. Interested applicants have last chance to apply on official UGC NET website — ugcnet.nta.ac.in. Registration started from November 19.
The exam is scheduled to be conducted between January 1 and January 19. Regardless of previous attempts, candidates will have to re-register with a new account and a new application number will be issued.

Step 2: Click on the registration link on the homepage
Step 3: Fill the application form and pay the application fee
Step 4: Click on Submit to complete the application process
Step 5: Download the completed application form for future reference.
Candidates can correct their details in the online application form from December 12 to 13. After this period, the examination center city will be notified, and after some time the admit card will be issued.
In the June 19 session, a day after the exam was conducted, the Center canceled the crucial exam for entry-level teaching jobs and PhD admissions in Indian universities, following inputs from the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) that “integrity. The exam may have been compromised”.
The input was a screenshot of the UGC-NET paper circulated on a Telegram channel at 2 pm on the day of the exam (June 18), with messages and comments suggesting it was leaked before the first session. Later in August, the agency re-announced the revised dates for the June session. The UGC NET was then conducted between August 21 and September 4 in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.
