Daughter of Tim Walz Hope Walz has reacted to the election results in which her father’s party lost even in the Minnesota county where Gov. Walz started her political career – and said the country doesn’t deserve Kamala Harris. She released a video on TikTok sharing her post-election thoughts and those of “anger”, saying she is not normally an angry person.
“That woman (Kamala Harris) should go live her best life where she wants to do whatever she wants because we don’t deserve her at this point,” Hope said. “This country doesn’t deserve Kamala Harris.”
“The only people who gave this election were black women and we failed them.”
The election results were heartbreaking and Democrat supporters will do what they can to support each other over the next four years, Hope said.
Coming out to President-elect Donald Trump and Vice-President-elect JD Vance, Asha said the two have to live in their own skins and it’s a punishment she doesn’t wish on anyone but her. “These people have to live in their own skins, just like JD Vance and Donald Trump have to be JD Vance and Donald Trump, and I want that punishment for anyone but those two people,” the 23-year-old said. said
“I’m really thankful that I am who I am and I stand for love, hope and joy and progress.”
Asha said that she will think more about the election and share it on TikTok. She now gives herself weeks to grieve and mourn what could have been, what should have been.
“But we are not in that place and that is not reality. I give myself weeks to accept it and be in it,” she said. “Then the work begins. We got this America. It’s going to be okay.”
“The earth keeps turning and we live to fight another day,” Hope wrote in her Instagram post.
