Minister of State for Transport and Sports, Mandipalli Ramaprasad Reddy on Tuesday said the revenue meetings will be a continuous process to address land issues in Andhra Pradesh.

Addressing farmers at a revenue conference at Guntapally village in Sambepally mandal of Annamayi district on Tuesday, Reddy said most of the issues raised in the meeting were related to land disputes. Stating that more than 90 percent of cases in Annamay are related to land, he said that revenue session will be held in every village of the district.

The minister said that the meeting will mainly focus on land irregularity, discrepancies related to 22 acres of land and revenue related complaints from various people. “These complaints can be submitted online and action will be taken to resolve them immediately. The authorities should take the revenue forum seriously and implement measures to effectively address the issues raised by the public,” he stressed.

He said that instead of going to many offices for the land affected people, the purpose is to resolve the applications received in the revenue conference immediately. He expected the revenue officers and employees to play an important role in solving the ongoing land problem in the province.

Later, he received a petition from the public. Senior officials of police, revenue and agriculture departments were present.
