The Sahitya Akademi on Wednesday announced the annual awards in 21 languages for books published between January 2018 and December 2022, including eight poems, three novels, two short stories, three essays, three literary criticisms, one play and one research work. . The academy said awards for works in Bengali, Dogri and Urdu will be announced later. All the books were selected on the basis of recommendations made by a jury of three members across languages.
