The 64th meeting of the State High-Level Clearance Committee (SHLCC) chaired by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Monday (December 23, 2024) approved 10 investment projects worth a total of Rs 9,823 crore.
It has sanctioned projects in the semiconductor sector worth ₹3,425 crore in the electronic manufacturing cluster at Kochanahalli, Mysuru.

In the meeting, it was discussed that the income from the by-products of the sugar factory should be shared with the sugarcane farmers. The Chief Minister directed the officials to review the measures taken by the Tamil Nadu and Maharashtra governments regarding sharing of profits from the by-products of sugar factories.
The meeting, attended by Industries Minister M B Patil and IT/BT Minister Priyank Kharge, discussed the issue of fines on firms that are allotted KIADB land but refuse to set up factories as per schedule. The Chief Minister asked the officials to ensure that the factories/companies run their manufacturing/manufacturing processes as per the government regulations.
