BJP MLA Bishnu Kumar Raju supported Revant Reddy’s comments about Allu Arjun in the assembly

VisakhapatnamFamous actor Allu Arjun has been arrested in connection with the death of a woman in the stampede at Sandhya Theatre. Later he was released on bail. BJP MLA Bishnu Kumar Raju is now embroiled in controversy over Allu Arjun’s arrest.

Raju expressed his alignment with Telangana Chief Minister A Revant Reddy’s statement in the Assembly on the Allu Arjun case. “If what Revanth Reddy said about Allu Arjun in the assembly is true, I agree with him. This is my personal opinion,” he clarified.

He stressed that the law applies equally to all celebrities, regardless of their status. “The law takes its course,” Raju said. He also expressed concern about the support Allu Arjun received after his arrest, which apparently did not pay attention to the grieving family of the deceased woman.

Raju also advocated strict rules for benefit shows and suggested that police permission should be mandatory. “My view is that benefit programs should be discontinued entirely,” he said, adding that these events can create dangerous overcrowding, potentially leading to stampedes.

He says that if Allu Arjun had not come to the program, the incident could have been avoided. Raju stressed that celebrities should take police approval before participating in public events. If he died, Allu Arjun commented that he should leave the scene responsibly.
