Karan is Aujla began to dominate the Punjabi pop music scene, is all set to begin his tour in India and recently, ticket aggregator BookMyShow made his concert ticket prices available. In the past few months, Indian audiences have seen global stars like Diljit Dosanjh, Maroon 5 and Dua Lipa, and are looking forward to Coldplay performing in January 2025, but interestingly, Karan Aujla’s concert tickets are more expensive than most.
According to ticket prices on BookMyShow, his show in Gurgaon, scheduled for December 19, is selling the most expensive ticket at Rs 15 lakh. The details on the app state that it offers entry to 15 people and that they will receive “8 luxury bottles, 2 bottles of premium champagne, unlimited beer, energy drinks/mixers”. The most expensive ticket for his Mumbai show is also the same. This basically means that the VVIP Diamond Pass costs Rs 1 lakh per person. Which is almost double the price of a lounge pass at Diljit Dosanjh’s show in Mumbai. which is scheduled to take place on December 19. But a similar ticket for Karan Aujla’s show, giving entry to 15 people, is available for Rs 3 lakh in Kolkata and Rs 6 lakh and Rs 6.5 lakh in Jaipur and Hyderabad respectively.
The tickets are quite expensive compared to Diljit as the most expensive ticket for the singer’s upcoming show in Mumbai on December 17 was selling at Rs 60,000 and the cheapest at Rs 4,999. Even compared to Coldplay, the tickets are quite expensive. Coldplay’s most expensive tickets for their show in Ahmedabad were sold at Rs 35,000. The cheapest ticket here is available at Rs 2,500.
The most expensive ticket for Maroon 5’s recently concluded concert in Mumbai was sold for Rs 20,000 while the cheapest ticket was sold for Rs 5,000. Dua Lipa’s recently held show in Mumbai, the most expensive ticket for fans is available for Rs 45,000, while the cheapest ticket is being sold for Rs 3,500.
The cheapest ticket for Karan Aujla’s show is available in Ahmedabad for Rs 2749, though the venue for the same is yet to be announced. This show is being held on December 31.
