Fog in Delhi in the morning, mercury settled at 7.6 degrees Celsius Delhi News

According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), Delhiites woke up to fog on Saturday morning and the minimum temperature in the national capital settled at 7.6 degrees Celsius, one degree below the season’s average.

Delhi’s air quality has improved significantly. The Air Quality Index (AQI) fell to 392 in the ‘very poor’ category from 429 on Friday, Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) data showed.

An AQI between zero and 50 is considered ‘good’, 51 and 100 ‘satisfactory’, 101 and 200 ‘moderate’, 201 and 300 ‘poor’, 301 and 400 ‘very poor’, and 401 and 500 ‘severe’.

Meteorologists said that the sky will be mostly clear during the day and the maximum temperature will be 23 degree Celsius.
