Champion badminton player PV Sindhu got married to Datta Venkat Sai in Udaipur

Two-time Olympic medalist and India’s champion shuttler PV Sindhu married Datta Venkat Sai, CEO of Posidex Technologies on Sunday (December 22, 2024) at 11.20 pm in Udaipur, Rajasthan.

It was a traditional wedding amidst Vedic chants with a blend of Rajasthani culture in the presence of around 150 select guests from across the country including family members and friends.

The 21-acre island, set against the backdrop of the Aravalli ranges, was colorfully decorated to mark the momentous occasion in the life of one of India’s greatest athletes. Sindhu’s family booked around 100 rooms for near and dear ones.

A reception will be held in Hyderabad on Tuesday (December 24, 2024), where some of the biggest names from the fields of sports, arts and culture, politics are expected to attend.

Sindhu and Venkat Sai have personally invited Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Chief Ministers of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar, among others.
