Hyderabad: The Narendra Modi administration has filled 1 million permanent government jobs in a transparent manner without external influence in the last one-and-a-half years, claimed BJP state president and Union Minister G Kishan Reddy.
He was speaking at a job fair held at the CRPF campus in Chandrayangutta on Monday, where 546 candidates from Telugu states were recruited by CRPF, ITBP, SSB, Railways, Department of Posts, Maulana Azad National Urdu University Hyderabad, University of Hyderabad, SBI and Canara Bank.
Kishan Reddy said the Centre’s push for Digital India, improvement in digital transactions and production-link incentive (PLI) schemes are important drivers of employment. The Center is working through Startup India and Standup India to harness the entrepreneurial skills of the youth to create a large number of private jobs, he said.
Separately, at an event in Filmnagar, Kishan Reddy distributed dual desks and toilet cleaning machines to government high schools in Khairatabad and Jubilee Hills assembly constituencies under Secunderabad Lok Sabha constituency.
βDespite the government spending thousands of crores of rupees on school education, I am really worried about the poor facilities in government schools. I want to ensure basic amenities in Secunderabad constituency by providing funds for construction of toilets, toilet cleaning machines and furniture. I have informed the district education officer about my wish,’ the minister announced.
