Kapil Sharma has been criticized for making jokes related to someone’s appearance on The Great Indian Kapil Show. Recently the comedian made fun of her appearance on director-producer Atlee Kumar and Archana Pooran Singh’s show, which did not go down well with a section of people. Recently, the latest episode welcomed the team of Baby John as guests of honor including Varun Dhawan, Keerthy Suresh, Wamika Gabbi and Atlee.
In the grand finale episode of the season, Kapil made fun of Atlee’s looks. However, the young director immediately clapped back and barbarically responded that it didn’t matter. The host talked about how Atlee became a big director and producer, especially after the success of Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Jawan.
He asked, “But, when you meet a star for the first time, do they ask, Where’s Atlee?” Attlee responded brilliantly and said, “I understand your question. I will try to answer. I am actually very thankful to AR Murugadoss sir because he produced my first film. He asked for the script, but he didn’t see how I looked or if I was capable. But he liked my story. I think the world needs to see that. We should not judge by appearance. Your heart should judge.” A clip from the episode went viral on social media and Kapil is now facing backlash for his racist remarks.

Also, as always, Kapil Sharma has also roped in Archana Pooran Singh. Atlee did not hesitate to support her and called Archana the show’s ‘saviour’ for her and requested the comedian not to make fun of her. Kapil introduced her to the director and said, “Her name is Archana Pooran Singh because she is a big fan of Daku Mohan Singh. There was a man in his gang from whom he was named,’ then everyone laughed. But, Attlee said, “His leg should not be dragged, he is the only savior of the show for me. When she laughs, I laugh, because I don’t know anything, I’m waiting for her signal. Archana quickly replied, “Well said Atlee, now you and I are a team.”
Meanwhile, Atlee Kumar has turned producer as he is the co-producer of Varun Dhawan’s upcoming film Baby Zone. For the unversed, Baby John is an adaptation of his superhit film Theri with Thalapathy Vijay. Directed by Kalij, this action drama stars Varun Dhawan, Keerthy Suresh and Wamika Gabbi in lead roles. The movie is slated to hit theaters on December 25.
