At least five people were killed and three others injured in the provincial capital of Pakistan’s northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province on Sunday in an old feud between two rival groups.

The incident took place under the jurisdiction of Pishtakhara Police Station in Peshawar District. The rival groups opened fire after coming face-to-face at an event in their locality.

The police immediately reached the spot to control the situation. Raids have been conducted at various places to arrest the accused.
