is running Singer AP Dhillon and Diljit Dosanjh had a fight He has been making headlines for some time now. Recently, Dhillon commented on the phenomenon of concert tickets selling out in seconds. Diljit Dosanjh’s Continued Dil-Luminati tour. While Dhillon did not mention Diljit directly, he indirectly accused the singer of being unfair to his fans.
Speaking on Ranbir Allahbadia’s podcast, AP Dhillon shared his thoughts on how artists sell tickets to promoters in advance, forcing fans to buy them at high prices. He said, βThere will be a crisis in India if it continues like this (If this continues, there will be a crisis in India). Artists are being unfair to their fans The show sold out in 15 seconds. Nothing is sold (Shows sold out within 15 seconds. Nothing sold). It’s all a way of marketing. The promoters are giving away the tickets. His fans, now he has to wait, and have to buy tickets at higher prices (They sell tickets to promoters. Fans have to wait to buy tickets at high prices).
Dhillon admitted that he had considered engaging in similar practices but ultimately chose not to because his conscience would not allow it. He said, βAt some point, We felt the same (We thought too), should we play this game? But I’m like no, we can’t go to bed knowing that Jinhone show dhene ana tha, humne saath aise kiya (For those who wanted to participate in the show, we made them do it).
He added, “You name it, Koi bhi show ho raha hai jo bikyo, muje taao, 2 thousand tickets chahiye, kal hi dilwa donga. Dilwa Dunga today. Log music is now played like a game. So the fun in him has gone bad (Any show that’s sold out, ask me if you need 2,000 tickets, I’ll give them to you tomorrow, or even today. People are playing the music like a game. It sucks the fun out of it).
Describing the practice as a “dirty game”, Dhillon stood by the fans, insisting they deserved the opportunity to buy tickets at a fair price. He also requested that artists with high status should not practice such practices.
Diljit Dosanjh will conclude his Dil-Luminati tour in Ludhiana on December 31. Like his previous concerts in different cities, reports claimed that tickets for the Ludhiana concert also sold out quickly.
The feud between AP Dhillon and Diljit Dosanjh started when Diljit insulted both AP Dhillon and Karan Aujla during his concert in Indore, who had performed in India. At his own Chandigarh concert, Dhillon responded by asking Diljit to unblock him on Instagram before congratulating him. In turn, Diljit responded to Dhillon’s claim by sharing screenshots, claiming that he never blocked Dhillon. However, later, AP Dhillon shared a “before and after” video, showing how he was blocked by the “GOAT” singer on social media, only to be unblocked later.
