Forest officials have rescued a leopard cub that got separated from its mother and entered the university campus in Maharashtra’s Amravati city, an official said on Wednesday.
Forest officials said the child was reunited with its mother on Wednesday afternoon PTI.
Leopard Sant Gadge Baba used to come to drink water from the lake near Amravati University, he said. The child got separated from the mother and got into the water tank in the university premises.
The kitten was rescued Tuesday afternoon and later reunited with its mother, officials said.
