West Godavari Police, parcel identification investigation is on

KakinadaWest Godavari police have identified the dead body of 45-year-old Barre Paralaya of Gandhanagar, Kalla mandal of West Godavari district, which was recently found in a parcel box.

The family of the deceased identified the body on Monday. In the postmortem report, it was found that Parlya was strangulated to death.

SP Adnan Naeem Asmi said Deccan ChronicleBased on the investigation, it is said that the accused of the murder is Sridhar Varma. He and his elder wife Rani hired Paralya to clean their 1.71 acre farmland. Later, Verma took Parlya on a motorcycle from the farm.

After the dead body was found in a parcel in a house in Yendagandi village of Undi mandal, the police team started an investigation based on identification.

The police said that the deceased’s wife and his two sons and brother will also be sent for DNA testing and complete evidence will be obtained.

SP said that the letter found in the parcel along with the dead body was found to have the signature of the accused Sridhar Verma’s other live-in partner ‘Jayalakshmi’.

On the day the parcel arrived, Verma and Jayalakshmi absconded in a red car, suspecting that the license plate was fake. The police believe that the accused planned the murder and absconded immediately after the incident.

Surprisingly, the parents of the accused did not know that their son Verma had married Revathi. The police team is searching for the accused after collecting the evidence. 15 police teams have been formed to search for the accused.

Meanwhile, according to sources, the police were interrogating Sridhar Verma’s parents and landlord Tulsa and his parents for clues to the murder. .
