Hyderabad: Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar on Wednesday stressed the need for citizens to adopt a “nation first” mentality to counter both internal and external forces that are struggling to accept India’s rapid progress. Speaking at a conference of organic farmers in Telangana’s Medak district, Dhankhar also stressed that dialogue is the only way to solve problems in a democracy.
“Today I see that farmers are worried about some issues. If any section of the society is concerned, it needs to be resolved positively without delay. In a democracy, problems are solved through negotiation. There are many opportunities that dialogue is the only way to find solutions to problems in a democracy,” he said.
Dhankhar said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi advocated dialogue even when speaking at international forums.
