Hyderabad: Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar on Wednesday stressed the need for citizens to adopt a “nation first” mentality to counter both internal and external forces that are struggling to accept India’s rapid progress. Speaking at a conference of organic farmers in Telangana’s Medak district, Dhankhar also stressed that dialogue is the only way to solve problems in a democracy.
“Today I see that farmers are worried about some issues. If any section of the society is concerned, it needs to be resolved positively without delay. In a democracy, problems are solved through negotiation. There are many opportunities that dialogue is the only way to find solutions to problems in a democracy,β he said.
Dhankhar said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi advocated dialogue even when speaking at international forums. Conflicts seen in the world can only be ended through dialogue.β Dhankhar stressed that βevery Indian must have unwavering faith in nationalism to defeat the forces against the country.β The terrible convergence of forces hostile to India’s progress,β he said, βstarts the story with such forces that later issue and It takes the form of a movement, he said, to citizens to have “unbreakable faith in nationalism”.
