In 2021, popular stand-up comedian and former America’s Got Talent contestant Kabir “Kabiji” Singh was found dead at his home in San Francisco at the age of 39. Known for his sharp humor and memorable role in Family Guy, Singh left a lasting impression on audiences.

Authorities are investigating her sudden death and are awaiting toxicology results, but a friend shared that she “died peacefully in her sleep.” Close friend Jeremy Curry expressed his condolences in a heartfelt Facebook post on Dec. 5. Sharing a photo of the two smiling, Curry wrote, “This is the most devastating post I’ve ever posted … Please keep her family. And fiance in your thoughts and prayers.” He also shared details about a memorial service scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 14, at Hayward’s Chapel of the Chimes.

Singh’s fiancee confirmed the devastating news in a statement to People, and revealed that the comedian has been dealing with health issues for some time. As the investigation continues, authorities suspect natural causes played a role in her untimely death.

The America’s Got Talent team shared their condolences on social media, calling him a “talented performer who lit up the stage with his remarkable sense of humor.” Their message read: “He brought joy and laughter to so many, and his incredible talent will be missed.”

Singh performed with comedy icons such as Dave Chappelle, Joe Coy, and Russell Peters, and toured regularly with stars such as Angela Johnson and Aries Spears.

In 2015, he embarked on a 14-city international tour, delivering seven sold-out performances in the United Kingdom and four in India. His TV credits included Gabriel Iglesias’ Stand-Up Revolution, Starz and Fox. Singh’s last performance was on November 2, 2023 in Manteca, California.
