Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt both started their acting journey in 2012 with Karan Johar’s Student of the Year. Since then, their careers have taken different paths. Alia has become a National Award-winning actor, known for her performances in various genres, while Varun has carved a niche for himself in the action and comedy space. Despite their different trajectories, Varun recently shared that he and Alia still share a strong bond, and their conversations these days revolve around their daughters.
Talking to the media, Varun revealed, ‘Me and Alia are currently talking about children. That’s all we are discussing. We are discussing our children with each other and what should be done and what will happen.” Alia and her husband Ranbir Kapoor welcomed daughter Raha in 2022. Varun and his wife Natasha Dalal They became parents to their daughter Lara earlier this year.
Varun Dhawan also said that he has met his daughters. “Raha and Lara have met, I think. Lara is still very young, but they have met,” he said.
Reflecting on fatherhood, Varun describes it as a life-changing experience. “Being a father to a daughter is a unique experience. It completely shakes you, makes you realize how much your mindset changes,” he shared. Varun also revealed his plans to bring Lara to cinema. The actor said that he watched his first film. Anubhav wants to be Student of the Year, the film that made his and Alia’s debut. I think it’s the first one he can watch because it’s a very easy watch for him,” added Varun.
Over the years, Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt have shared screen space in several films, including Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania (2014), Badrinath Ki Dulhania (2017), and Kalank (2019).
Currently, Varun is busy promoting his upcoming film Baby John, the official remake of Atlee’s Tamil blockbuster Theri. The movie is all set to hit theaters on December 25.
