Two people died, five were injured in a road accident

Yaddri-Bhongir: Two people died on the spot while five students were injured when a car overturned on the Warangal-Hyderabad highway near Bhongir on Wednesday night. The injured have been taken to the local hospital.

The deceased have been identified as 25-year-old Mohammad Abdul and 19-year-old K. Yashwant. Injured P. Arjun, K. Nitin, K. Srinivas, Mani Jayantha and P. Sakit is there.

While returning to Hyderabad from Yadagirigutta, the accident took place at Bhongir-Bommapally intersection. All the deceased are residents of Ramanthapur in Hyderabad. Yashwant, Arjun, Nitin, Srinivas and Jayanth are intermediate students, while Sakit is a class 9 student in a private school.

Police said the students had hired a car to visit the Yadagirigutta Sri Laxminarsingh Swamy temple. Preliminary investigations point to speeding as a possible cause of the incident.
