The Hyderabad Traffic Police has announced a traffic ban on December 21 from 5 pm to 9 pm in view of the Christmas celebrations at the LB Stadium, which will be attended by the Telangana Chief Minister. These measures have been implemented to ensure public safety and smooth traffic flow around the venue.
Traffic from AR Petrol Pump Junction towards BJR Pratima will be diverted towards Nampally Railway Station or Rabindra Bharti. Similarly, vehicles going to AR Petrol Pump from Basheer Bagh will be diverted towards SBI, Gunfoundry and Nampally Station Road from BJR Statue. Traffic coming from Sujata School Lane towards Khan Latif Khan (KLK) Building will also be diverted towards Nampally at Sujata School Junction.
Motorists are advised to stay away from Lakdi Ka Pool, Iqbal Minar, Rabindra Bharti, Hyderabad Traffic Police Junction, Basheer Bagh, BJR Statue Circle, AR Petrol Pump, KLK Bhawan and Liberty Junction during the specified hours to avoid rush hour.
