Within a few years, the million dollar studio has produced a wealth of interesting films. Along with Good Night and Lover, the banner is currently bannering RJ Balaji’s Happy Ending and Arjun Das-Aditi Shankar’s Once More. Their love affair with English titles continued with their next film, Tourist Family. Directed by debutant Abhishan Jeevant, the film stars Sasikumar and Simran in lead roles.
Interestingly, this project from the million dollar studio marks the debut director and the fifth film with an English title. Announcing the title of Abhishaan’s project, the makers released a teaser that gives us a glimpse of the heroes’ lives. While the teaser is full of light moments, one can be sure that Tourist Family will be more than that as it is about a Sri Lankan Tamil family, who are forced to leave their home due to unexplained circumstances.

Apart from Sasikumar and Simran, Tourist Family stars Avesham-fame Mithun Jai Shankar, Yogi Babu, Kamlesh, MS Bhaskar, Bagwathi Perumal, and Elango Kumaravel. The film is produced by Pasilian Nazareth, Magesh Raj Pasilian and Yuvraj Ganesan. Arvind Viswanathan and editing by Barath Vikraman, with the music of Sean Roldan, who composed for Good Night and Lover under the same banner, the tourist family has been shot.

Apart from Tourist Family, Sasikumar has an interesting lineup of films including Evidence and Freedom, which are in various stages of production. The actor-filmmaker also revealed that he will return to directing in 2025. On the other hand, Simran is currently awaiting the release of Arivajhagan’s much-awaited horror film, Sabdham, and her home production, The Last One.
