The CPM has asked the state to listen to the opposition

Remember-Bhongir: CPM state secretary Tammineni Veerabhadram on Monday called upon the Telangana state government to incorporate the suggestions of opposition parties on the HYDRAA project and Musi river rejuvenation schemes.

Addressing the media at the district general committee meeting of the party in Chautuppal, Veerabhadram criticized the Congress for celebrating its one-year rule and asked the party to introspect. He demanded to reveal the steps taken by the Congress government to solve the problems of the people and pointed out that it has failed to implement the main commitments like Raithu Bharosa Yojana, unemployment incentives.

Veerabhadram also asked the state government to cancel the contracts with the Adani Group, alleging that there was little difference in the policies of the Congress and BRS governments, accusing both of suppressing dissent.

We are not calling for another political party to leave this government. Instead, the Congress government should correct its mistakes and give effective governance,’ he said.

He reiterated the CPM’s opposition to the BJP-led central government’s “one nation-one election” proposal, saying it violates the spirit of the Indian Constitution, weakens the federal structure and undermines state autonomy. Veerabhadram emphasized CPM’s commitment to protect constitutional values and strengthen state rights.
