Hyderabad: Vigilance and Enforcement (V&E) officials investigating the Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) have issued a notice to HCA CEO Sunil Kante seeking detailed records related to irregularities in documents and transactions.
P. Srinivas of the Regional V&E Office sent a notice requesting details regarding tenders, procurement and procedures for awarding IPL contracts, as well as other HCA programs and sports.
The notice sought detailed records including documents approved by the Supreme Council and general bodies, tender notices, bidder lists, successful bids, award letters, contracts, invoices, check payments, delivery records and store inventory.
Additionally, officials sought details of IPL-related contracts for catering, transport and other services from March 11, 2020 till date. They also inquired about the status of preparation of turf wickets in Mahbubnagar and Nizamabad districts, requesting an explanation for any delay.
The notice requested more information on the multi-level parking project at HCA, approval of financial statements shared with the current apex council members, squad size for Ranji Trophy and other state-level games, and 2022, 2023 and related player details. 2024.
Finally, officials asked for a breakdown of BCCI grants — annual, infrastructure, and women’s cricket grants — for the past three years (2022-2024) with usage details.
