The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) will hold talks with other parties in the Bharat bloc to oust the Congress from the alliance, according to party sources.

“There is a lot of displeasure in AAP over the statements of Congress’ Delhi leaders. Congress is working with BJP,” an AAP source said.

It is said that the party will hold a press conference on this issue tomorrow.

On Wednesday (December 25, 2024), All India Congress Committee Treasurer Ajay Maken said that in his personal opinion, it was a “mistake” to ally with AAP in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections in Delhi.

“I think it is because of the current plight of Delhi today and the Congress’s support to AAP in 2013. It probably went wrong again in this year’s Lok Sabha elections,” he said. .

Mr Maken made the comments when the Congress released a 12-point “white paper” to highlight the “unfulfilled” promises made by the AAP government in Delhi and the BJP-led government at the Center over the past 10 years.
