Cairo: An Israeli attack on a school sheltering displaced people in Gaza killed six people and wounded others, the civil emergency service reported on Sunday.
On Saturday, Israeli airstrikes killed at least 10 Palestinians, including two children, in Nuseirat refugee camp and the town of Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip, medics told Reuters.
Meanwhile, Gaza’s Ministry of Health said the Kamal Adwan hospital in northern Gaza had continued to receive intense and heavy bombardment, which it said was “unprecedented” and without prior warning.
The hospital on the northern edge of the enclave, which the Israeli army has been operating since October, is one of only three functioning medical facilities.
“Explosives and tanks are being bombed, directly targeting us when we are present in hospital departments,” the ministry said.
